This is absolutely the best barbecue I have ever had. The brisket is clearly 5-Stars. The sauce was good enough to be soup. I will definitely drive the hour to go back to this place frequently. The atmosphere is just outstanding improved only by the impromptu live music. Put Hill Country BBQ on your list of places to go.

Hubby & I agree that the brisket here is the best we have ever had hands down. It's simple yet amazing. The sauce is equally as good, I asked for some to take home with me today. We get excited when we have an opportunity to come here. Clean place, incredible food & very hospitable owners. Do not miss this gem!

Wow! The best brisket I've ever had. We were traveling through to College Station for a game and stopped for lunch. The folks there were great and very friendly. We tried the ribs as well and they were very flavorful. The brisket cut with a fork and pretty much fell apart as you ate it. Sides were great,  fresh okra and mac and cheese.

I would highly recommend! 5 stars.

Great stop driving back to Houston from College Station. I’ve passed it multiple times and have been dying to try it. I was not disappointed! The ribs are amazing. Highly recommend. Very very reasonably priced for BBQ. The owner and staff were very friendly and it has a great atmosphere. We will be back!

This is my favorite BBQ place in Texas and I have eaten at a lot of them. Combined with the building, atmosphere, the owners and the bbq, it's a wonderful experience. The owner Dan Hill and his family will make you feel right at home and part of their family. You can spend an afternoon just looking at all the old rodeo and bull rider pictures around the building. Well worth the visit. This is what true Texas BBQ is all about.
