Fairly nice campground.   The pads are fairly close together and consequently they have a lot of rules about parking, etc. to try to keep everyone happy.  They are a bit over priced but all in all,  not a bad place.  I  will definitely stop here the next time I travel through Bismarck!

A very unwelcoming campground. 

We were on a roadtrip across the USA and needed a spot to sleep for the night. We found hillcrest and the front office looked closed (9pm) so we went to find a spot for our tent. We planned on paying in the morning. After being in bed for an hour and almost asleep the manager lady came and woke us up and told us that there was no tent camping. She was very angry and would not let us stay the night even though it was 10:15pm. We packed up our tent and hit the road and slept in Jamestown. 

The park is an odd combination of trailer houses and RVs. Lots of hwy noise can be heard from the campsites. 

Like the other reviewers said, the host is not friendly and I would not recommend staying here.
