He is always responsive and incredibly knowledgable in all things bankruptcy.

I was involved in a litigation matter and employed Joseph Canning, an attorney at Hillman and Lucas, to provide me with advice regarding my situation. Mr. Canning gave me candid advice in a respectful manner, and analyzed what potential liability might arise so that I could make an educated decision. I really liked how he took the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions. He was also very prompt in returning my phone calls and emails, usually within a few hours, and I always felt he treated me ethically and professionally. Mr. Canning is very intelligent as well and it seemed like he knew the answer to every question I asked him about my case. I was very pleased with the services he provided me with regard to my situation, which were performed competently and cost-effectively. I would definitely recommend him as an attorney, whether you need his litigation advice like me, or a bankruptcy case filed.

I retained the services of attorney Joseph Canning of Hillman & Lucas, to guide me through my bankruptcy process. It was a very stressful time in my life with a great deal of uncertainties but Mr. Canning went right to work and advocated for me through the entire process. From the first meeting with him, I felt comfortable sharing information with him and confident knowing that he would represent me in court. He was friendly yet assertive and he and his support staff were always available to answer any questions and explain each step.  He was open and candid about my financial situation and laid out my options allowing me to make the decision that I felt most comfortable with. I needed someone that was truly on my side during this difficult time and so I put my trust in Joseph Canning and he did not let me down. My case has now been successfully discharged and I am very satisfied with the whole process. I highly recommend Mr. Canning to anyone seeking legal consultion and services.
