Best grocery store ever! Very family oriented feeling and makes regulars feel lile family too. Staff have low turn over rate so you always see the same friendly faces that have been there for years. The store has a great selection of items with good prices. The deli is amazing ans food is always fresh cooked and never dried out and stale.

It's a store. It's often wildly overpriced. 5 dollar iceberg lettuce, for example. Produce is iffy at times. It does offer a great selection and has many choices of great beers. Their deli offers good fried chicken and, depending on the time of day, pretty good steam table Chinese food. Despite the good things, I will often leave in disgust at the high prices. I'd feel like a chump if I paid what they're charging.

I like Red Apple on Beacon Hill. They charge too much for some items, but overall they are decent store to shop at. They have a excellent hot food bar in the back. Their potato wedges are my favorite.

They have tasty lunch specials in the back of store. Not super expensive. Watch for traffic outside. Also a small bus hub out front and it's directly across from a Bank of America, De LA Raza and the Beacon Hill lite link rail station

Excellent selection of products, varies widely from the Western Family brand generics all the way up to exotic stuff you can't find at most stores. I appreciate that they mix it up in the beer/cider section as well. Marked down a star because there's a bit of price gouging going on to the tune of $1 or more per item higher than any grocery store close by, but good sales/convenience still often make it worth it.
