This hotel is in a great location but needs to be updated and needs a good cleaning! The front entrance, lobby and hallways had a constant musty smell. The lobby and common areas were poorly decorated despite the fact the the hotel itself is in a beautiful, historic building. Service was mediocre and the breakfast was lacking in choices. We stayed in a corner room with a nice view, but the windows were filthy! Also, in our large room there was a closet but no drawers or dresser to unpack your clothing. We tried to eat at Luke, the restaurant located in this hotel, but it was so loud we could not stay for dinner. Fortunately, there are many good restaurants close by this hotel. We are Hilton Honor members and always stay at Hilton properties when we travel but were very disappointed with this hotel. Lastly, it was pretty expensive to stay here (about $380/night) and overall hotel experience was not worth the price.

Very classy hotel, decent selection of bars/restaurants within the hotel itself. Located in downtown so there are many places to visit within walking distance (or by streetcar, which conveniently stops right in front of the hotel). Parking is somewhat expensive, with two garages located on either side of the hotel (one of which connects to the second floor of the hotel. 24 hr parking is $25. Rooms are nice, but air conditioning is not constant and turns on and off, so rooms can get a bit hot.

Great location, beautiful lobby, comfortable beds, bath/ shower combo with great water pressure. Good size room for being in a city. Very helpful and friendly staff. Overnight parking with valet was $42 a night or you can park around the corner for $25 a night.

The lobby and common areas are absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a suite that was well appointed. We wished the suite had a bathtub but the shower is great. We would definitely stay here again. It's only a 10m walk to bourbon

Great meal in a classic New Orleans Brasserie style restaurant. After many times here, I finally tried their staple interpretation of Shrimp and Grits with an added side if lump crab. It was very good. Unfortunately I wasn't able to save room for my favorite desert - the bread pudding. It is worth the trip to NO just for this desert.
