These guys were awesome!  I'd not been able to use my A/C for a year now on my 2003 ford, because the Bob Thomas ford dealership told me that the compressor was bad and it would cost 1600 bucks to fix it, and that was just too much to spend on a 2003 car.

So, driving by I saw the sign outside of Hires Automotive for $70 for a simple a/c recharge.  I took it in today didn't tell them what Ford had told me, and guess what?  All it needed was a simple recharge! 

That told me that these were very honest people at Hires Automotive, ones that I will go to again in the future!

An hour and a half later, they were done and my A/C was fixed!  I also then told them what Bob Thomas Ford had told me, and the Hires Technician was amazed.  He said that there was nothing wrong with my compressor, that all my AC needed was just a recharge period.

I"m guessing that Bob Thomas Ford had been trying to rip me off!  

No more!  Now, all my car needs will be done with Hires Automotive!

CROOKS! I drove my Cadillac cts in for an alignment and oil change, they called back and told me that the brakes were bad and I needed a new tire rod. I told them not to fix it since they wanted $950 to do it. I go to pick up my car and it has ABSOLUTELY NO BRAKES. There was no reason for me to worry about the brakes before I took it in. They said they couldn't fix it even though it happened while they had my car!!!! We drove the car home using emergency brakes only and called my family member who is a mechanic. It was $35 for parts and we fixed it in a few hours. Including the tire rod! I will NEVER return to Hires, this is terrible that they could let a mother and her daughter drop off the car and take complete advantage of the fact that I probably have no idea how to fix or diagnose it myself. Disgusted.

everyone there is extremely rude!! not helpful, and honestly makes you feel stupid. the only nice person there is adam h. who was a huge help
