Amazing experience! David was very friendly and knowledgable about the aircrafts. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We were also able to explore a couple of them from the inside and take pictures. It seemed a little expensive at first but was definitely worth it!

I have had a membership here for 4 years now and have probably visited 50+ times now... mostly bringing along my 4yr old son because he absolutely loves the chance to tell me all the aircraft names, get the chance to watch them take off and fly, and being able to walk through many of them to get the full experience. The staff / volunteers are always amazing and I learn something new with each visit.

We drove to the area for the Boeing Factory Tour, and drove past this building and stopped in with a bit of curiosity. Housed in a large building are planes from 1927 to 1957, the "Golden Age of Flight." The ticket price looked a bit steep ($15/adult) and we had the option of a self-guided tour OR a docent guided tour. We went with the guided tour and Mark was a GREAT guide - smart, fun, a little entertaining and able to answer our questions. I enjoyed the order in which he took us (oldest to newest) and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was also fun to get up close and personal with these relatively small aircraft, be able to peer into the cockpits and get under the wings. While visitors couldn't get into planes, we sure were able to get up close and personal. Finally, this helped us get a perspective on the big, wide-body planes we were about to see on the Boeing Factory tour. I recommend going on this first, and then head to the Boeing Factory Tour!

This is an incredible museum concept. Planes are meant to not only be seen flying but experienced. They believe history was meant to be learned by the touch, sight, and feel of planes on the ground. All are available and accessible - nothing is behind ropes or barriers. You can walk under, around, and sometimes in the planes. When it is a flying day they are available and accessible on the tarmac up until flight time when they are moved to a roped off area where they can be safely preflighted and started by the pilots. It probably means a little more work to preflight after the public has access but these guys are good and spend the time to do the work. Public access seems to be a priority. I've seen and sat in the B25 Mitchell "Grumpy", touched the A-1D Skyraider "The Proud American", P51 Mustang "The Impatient Virgin, the Beech Staggerwing, and on. All have free access, many with pilot tours, and I've seen all of them fly at numerous airshows all over the Northwest. Worth going to see and find out what they have and their flying schedules.
