A great place for a wedding! Beautiful scenery all around. A historic building with plenty of space. A number of outdoor spots for a ceremony, but also an indoor backup space available. Large dressing rooms for bride and groom. Warm and friendly staff that are willing to help before and during wedding.

My daughter and her fiancé wanted Historic Yellow Springs as their venue for their wedding. They were married by a beautiful tree on the ruins of a very old hospital and the reception was held in The Washington right on the grounds. We could not have been happier with the wedding and venue. The staff (thank you Allie, Sue, etc) were responsive to any questions and concerns and handled everything so efficiently. I highly recommend this wonderful venue.

I visited Historic Yellow Springs and really enjoyed the history of the area and the variety of activities. There is a trail that goes by the foundation of the first military hospital, many historic buildings, a library and the the Chester Springs Studio. There is a beautiful 18th century herb garden next to the military hospital. The Chester Springs Studio hosts many art classes including fine art and ceramics. I saw plein air artists painting in the area. There is also an amazing wood burning kiln outside of the ceramic studio. They have great classes for teens and kids. I attended classes myself and have learned much. This is a special place--unique because of the combination of beautiful scenery, its history and the classes in art and pottery.
