I have been a costumer for over 35 years Dan has been my optician for many years. Their eye glasses are always in style and so many beautiful frames to pick from Everywhere I go , I receive nice compliments about my eye glasses I always say tell them to go to the Hogenkamp Optics Maureen O’Connor
My new glasses are fantastic Dan did another grrrrrrr8 job making and fitting them for me. Plus assured me if they are less than perfect to come back and he'll do his best to make them perfect! Very knowledgeable optician Dan Hogenkamp. Did a grrrr8 job tuning up my glasses. They fit like new again. Receptionist Michaela good listener, friendly and helpful. I found my new optical shop!
If I could give 10 stars I would! I have been coming here since I first needed glasses about 6-7 years ago. Dan, Joe and the whole team will go out of their way to make you feel valued and appreciated. They treat you like family and not just another customer. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is they take the time to make sure your glasses fit perfectly and that you are happy and satisfied. I have and will recommend them to anybody who needs glasses or contacts. Give them a try you will not be disappointed!

If you want to get treated like you don’t exist and get lied to then please visit Hogencamp’s. This place has went from a great business that values their customers to a careless and lazy establishment with employees who would rather chat in the back while you wait 4+ hours for a mere adjustment. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
Best experience while on the hunt for new glasses for my daughter! Joe was patient and pleasant to talk to. He really put in the extra effort to make sure her glasses fit PERFECTLY! Can’t say enough about how great this place is!
I always try to do my business locally and I have gone to Hogenkamp over the years. My last experience was frustrating on all levels. I had to wait between 3-4 hours after I already had my selection made in a previous visit to order my glasses. They took someone in front of me saying they didn’t realize their mistake. I knew exactly what I wanted. I had lost my other glasses so they told me it would be a week. I said that’s fine, I’m leaving for Florida for a few days. I ordered them the week of April 19th and picked them up today. That was not acceptable in my view. There was a lot of excuses as to why they weren’t ready but the bottom line is the service I experienced was extremely poor. Mr. Hogenkamp said to me today, “I’m glad you’re getting good customer service” and I thought you have got to be kidding me! Waiting 4 weeks for a pair of glasses I need. I had no other prescription glasses since April and I can’t drive without them. Phone calls were not returned with either of my last two visits, emails unanswered. My personal opinion is they’ve grown their business too big and can’t handle it so there’s extremely long wait times and a lot gets lost in the process, including my glasses. I will say that receptionist is very good but as I told them, she does the work of 4 people. They’re lucky to have her.
By far, one of the most dedicated family owned organizations in Orchard Park. I have been going to Hogenkamp Optics for a decade now, and never am disappointed. Dan, Joe,Fran, and the front desk staff always are committed to making each and every client their main focus and are dedicated to finding the perfect frame, and never try to sell a product based on price, but rather the fit and look on the individual! If you are in the market for contact lenses, Joe in particular was extremely helpful ensuring the proper fit, ensuring enough oxygen was getting to my eye, and was very patient while I used several trials to ensure we found the perfect pair of contact lenses. Do yourself a favor, and make the switch today! You will be glad you did!
We drove from Russell PA based on the awesome reviews. My wife and I were "wowed" by how helpful Dan was. We went to buy a pair of Silhouette glasses for myself and ended up buying my wife a pair as well. Skip the "Big" name retailers. This boutique style store will make the glasses superbly compared t others. Make the trip you won't go wrong. We give it 10 stars!!! THANK YOU
Somebody recommended Hogenkamp Optics to us for my 8 year olds first pair of glasses. We walked in and he immediately shut down. Couldn't make a decision, didn't want glasses etc. Dan immediately came over and walked our 8 year old through the process. He made it fun and really got him excited about getting glasses. He was knowledgeable, professional and so helpful. We couldn't be happier and would recommended this store to anyone needing glasses. Thank You Dan!
