Got 20 pieces Garlic & Spicy Chili with the Fried chicken dumplings. Reviews and photos look good so wanted to give this place of try. It's small, located in a plaza with parking or you can park on the street. There's a good amount of seats. Food was cooked well, wings were juicy inside and outside was crunchy. The dumplings were good; creamy inside and crunchy on the outside. But honestly, I was disappointed because both flavors were sweet I prefer hot wings. I got Garlic & Spicy Chili since they aren't flavors I'd expect to be sweet. If you're into the sweet and spicy for wings then you probably like this place but it's not for me. Note: this was before the bs shutdown
This place was perfect in every aspect. The taste was closest to typical, old school Korean Chicken taste which I never had ever since 2007. I am very picky about taste of oil when the food was fried. This place has by far the best tasted clean cooking oil I have ever had. The chicken was extremely crispy while inside of the breading was moist. I chose three different sauces, Soy Garlic, Lemon Pepper, Spicy...I don't remember the name but sweet and spicy red sauce. My preference was Spicy Red -> Soy Garlic -> Lemon Pepper I guess my husband was Soy Garlic -> Lemon Pepper -> Spicy Red Pickled radish was little too small to pick with chopsticks, but tasted right. Owner was quiet guy but I liked it especially when the time we live in is like thispandemic/lock down/social distance :
This place was great. Food was very good. The inside was very clean and tidy. Brand new kitchen and everything. Honestly, the surroundings are a bit sketchy outside, but this place is a hidden gem.
Very juicy fried chicken! Prices are pretty reasonable and service is solid. I like how quiet this place is, and how proof of vaccination is needed to dine-in!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Got the regular fried chicken lunch combo with fries and a pop. Chicken was crunchy, moist and had a good flavor. Fries were surprisingly tasty. I only like skinny fries. They have thicker fries. But the seasoning was different and makes me want to more fries. I will definitely do my best to go back at least once a week. And sorry again for no pictures. I'll add some next time.
If you're into korean fried chicken, this is the place to go. Amazing breading and the chicken is juicy and really soft. Definitely my go to for Korean fried chicken. Also there is plenty of parking at the lot. Only gripe is the wait times. When I was only one there it was a 20 minute wait so can't imagine what it's like when it's a full house.
Saw this spot while driving down Rampart in K-Town. Located next to the Big 6 Market. The restaurant interior is nice & simple and surprisingly spacious as well. I ended up ordering the 10 piece original wings, which came out to $12.04 tax included. Although the wings were temperature wise hot, the wings were delicious. They were crunchy and savory. I would definitely return to Hoho Chicken, they've got great wings at a reasonable price.
Mmmmmmm really good chicken! I love this place. The staff is friendly. I usually order ahead & pickup. Chicken takes about 15-20 minutes.
It's always wonderful to find by accident a place that shatters first impressions by coming through with a surprisingly delicious, totally affordable meal. Suggested tagline: Come for the Ho. Stay for the thick and delicious bird? Ah. No.
Over priced chicken...smh I got just five drums sticks and paid $12.00 for it no sides .place is clean and service is nice but just not feeling or tasting it. I'm going to Popeyes tonight for the $5.00 surf and turf spicy with signature mashed potatoes and biscuit. Just to make my taste buds happy again!!! Wooooooooooooooo lol
