We've been coming here for five years and we've always enjoyed the place. This season we have a completely new staff and they are doing a marvelous job. The have been fixing up the place and keeping it clean. They are always ready for new campers to enjoy the experience of Holiday Acres Campground. They have a nice private Lake, and a beautiful beach. Also a clubhouse and a Recreation room for the children with games and activities. The facilities include a room laundry room, showers and toilet facilities. The Country Store is well stock there is wood and Propane on site and each site has its own fire pit and access to all the facilities. And there is a key code gate to ensure privacy. They've also added a few more guest cabins to the campground and a new one is going in this week in Robbins Hollow. Robin's Hollow also has a new bathroom installed. The new management has been making great improvements throughout the season. come and enjoy Holiday Acres I highly recommended.

We came here to stay for a couple months while relocating to RI. Mark and his staff were very understanding of our needs. The seasonal folks are easy to get along with and often extended invitations to join in with their activities. I learned that what exists now is a huge improvement over last year and returning to a family campground is the primary objective. As campgrounds in New England go this is above average for the money. Our stay at a KOA north of here last year was much more expensive and less enjoyable. If we decide to continue camping, this would be on our list of places to do so.

The tent camping was SO loud - and we were very close to our campsite neighbors. There was a disco party which seemed fun, but it went on past the curfew. I think a fight broke out and there was yelling and fighting... then lots of people shouting "SHUT UP!!!". So, pretty loud overall. And the people driving around in golf carts added to the constant noise. And lots of dogs. All in all not a very outdoorsy "away from it all" camping experience. The bathrooms were clean at least, and the beach was cute.

Holiday Acres is perhaps the best campground in the state of Rhode Island. Has great accommodations Pleasant staff and a fun experience. I highly recommend it. I have been camping here for over 5 years now and I enjoyed it to the max.
