I went there for a professional development conference. The room we were in was very nice. Coffee, tea and hot water were provided and they even had ice water pitchers on the tables. The room was spacious and not cramped, and the tables and chairs were set up in a way that everyone could watch the presenter.

Newly renovated- furniture, carpet, etc has all been refreshed and looks like new. Location is excellent- a very short walk to main street where there are a number of cute shops and great restaurants to eat. We always stay here on NASCAR weekends; only about 15-20 minutes to the track.

The rooms were decently sized and there were plenty of modern comforts. We did have an issue with one of the rooms we rented having the shower not work. The room they moved us into was fine however it was on a completely different floor. The restaurant had a very nice look and feel and served a decent, complimentary breakfast for us on account of the issues we had. The location of the hotel was nice imo since I enjoy a good downtown view of the old streets and buildings. All in all the stay was OK.

Even though the hotel has been remodeled, this is still an older HI. The restaurant serves the prepackaged entrees so consistent across the HI hotels. Great if you do not want to go out for dinner. The best part of staying here is the hotel is around the corner from your choice of some of the best places to eat in town

Location was very convenient on and off the highway. Rooms were extremely clean and updated. Always nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Coffeemaker was a single serve keurig machine. We had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Food was outstanding. The hashbrowns were the best I have ever had. Because we were hotel guests our children ate breakfast for free which resulted in an extremely affordable meal for the family.
