Story

Come join us at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Granbury. We have large comfortable rooms to fit what you are looking for. Wanna take a swim, hot or cold outside all year around we have a indoor pool and Jacuzzi open at 7 am till 11 pm. How about a run, don't worry about going outside we have a fitness center for that. On week days we have HOT continental breakfast at 6:30 till 9:30,weekends 7am till 10am. Wanna do some shopping just visit downtown Granbury,only 5 mins away. Great shops and restaurants.

Fantastic. Called at 9am the AM of my reservation to see if I could check in early...they had a room ready for me by 11am. The room was spotless and smelled amazing. Hotels usuallg smell like moldy laundry to me, but not this one. Great breakfast spread and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend!

This was a good hotel with nice updated rooms. Some of the other clientele were a little rough and smoking right by the entrance but after you held your breath walking in the door everything else was okay. The only complaint that I had is that there was a very funky/rotten smell across our entire floor in the morning but I think it was coming from some of the aforementioned clientele.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and included a mini fridge, small microwave and coffee maker. Only thing lacking was the breakfast. The free Continental breakfast is a perk of Holiday Inn Express and though the spread was the same i am use to, this one wasn't as fresh.

Building is old but well taken care if and staff is very friendly. Breakfast is slightly above average for a holiday Inn express. I would stay here again.

My family recently spent 2 nights at this establishment.. room #316. Everything seemed ok with the room until I began itching the morning after the first nights stay. Took a look at my legs and it appeared to be mosquito bites so i really didn't think much of it. Later that evening the bites turned into red welts and became quite irritated. At this point some suspicion began to come into my mind, but I was tired and ready for bed. The next morning really didn't notice any change in the bites on my legs. We went ahead and checked out and began to make our way back home. During the ride home I began to notice numerous new, itchy, red bumps appearing on my lower torso below my belt line. It was then that I realized I had been a victim of bedbugs. We got home and took all the necessary precautions in an attempt not to contaminate our home with them. I then contacted the hotel and explained to them what had happened. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic about the incident and said that the general manager would call me the next day.. said that we would most likely get our money for the 2 nights refunded. Well tomorrow came, the next day came.. still no call. So my wife gets on the phone and calls the Hotel to speak to the manager. Still no manager to speak to. My wife was then instructed that our room was checked out by a professional and that NO bedbugs were found. The lady then told my wife that the general manager would be in the next day and would give her a call. Well, that was 2 days ago and still no call. Bottom line, what we experienced was beyond nasty. After going through my luggage I noticed the shorts I slept in had blood spots all throughout them in the same spots my welts were. My daughter also began to break out in spots on her arms. Overall a very bad experience, especially with the extremely poor and disrespectful customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
