Only went for a morning function in one of the conference rooms. Heat was broken in our conference room but hallway heat was good, so we left the doors open. Hotel appears near and clean but not extravagant. Has a pool. Staff was helpful and approachable. Two floors so it is rather large for a strip mall hotel. Location is great. Lots of food and shopping in the immediate area and while the neighborhood is good, I would not call it a walking friendly area. You drive you where you want to be, then you walk around. 60 minutes from Manhattan, 30 minutes from the shore. 10 minutes from the bay. 5 minutes off the parkway. Can't comment to anything else but as someone that's lived in the area, I've never really heard of any problems there.

It was Christmas day, and we drove from out of state to see family, but didn't want to jam into a crowded house, so we chose to stay here. It was close by, and reasonably priced. I wasn't really happy that instead of the free breakfast that we've gotten at every other Holiday Inn Express, it was in a restaurant that was a separate charge. On top of that, the walls were thin, so I could hear conversations and general noises from the people next door. To top it off, there were long black hairs on the pillows. We probably won't stay there again.

The building is decent, it's definitely an older structure, the climate control is a bit of an issue. The air is on in the hallways & it's about 40° outside. Overall it is clean & well kept. Also the staff has been very kind & accommodating during our stay.

Nice, economical stay. Few amenities but the rooms are adequate. The Tap bar and grill makes good pizza and nachos. Unfortunately the staff was a little difficult to deal with and if you have a later flight do not expect any flexibility in check out or even holding of your bags. The cleaning staff rock though.

The staff at the desk was nice and the room while small was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet however and the waitresses there left a lot to be desired. The hotel had 4 weddings the weekend we were there, yet they put out pathetically little food. They had to refill eggs and potatoes before even 4 or 5 of our group got food....and refilling took time. They offered a single small glass of juice or unlimited coffee. Those people who asked for juice got the wrong kind more often than correct and when one asked for the error to be fixed she was told a second glass of juice cost $3. When she again pointed out the mistake it was eventually fixed and was grudgingly told she would not be charged. When someone asked about pancakes or waffles, both of which and fruit were listed on the breakfast flyers in the room, he was told "only what's out". What was out was skimpy toast, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. There was also cereal, granola, and yogurt. So not horrible, but not that great either. It pays to be the only game in town.
