Great location! Beach side versus River side. Take your bicycles or rent. Hotel nice, only gave 4 stars due to cleanliness. Pets are welcome, we don't have a pet but our room had a lot of dog hair in the carpet. Staff friendly, breakfast good!! Would stay here again.

we paid $206.05 for one night's stay. the room was pretty clean but there were a few leaves left by the door when we walked in. the tv was nice. the bed was nicely made and the bath and body works coconut lime verbena amenities were great! we did ask for shaving cream and they were completely out though. the fire pit area was nice and the walk to the beach was right around the corner. overall I give it 4 stars for the price. next time we would like to get an ocean view room for the price we paid.

I get to stay in all the best hotels and I still like the old style drive up hotels. And this is one of them. Give me beachfront, a door in the front, and a door in the back and I'm in heaven. Grounds were clean and the restaurant next door is great. Location is close to St Simmons island too. This is the natural and quiet island in comparison. Wide beaches and good for walking as long as it's low tide. High tide comes fast. Look for local shrimp in this area.

This hotel was right on the ocean. Great place to come and relax. We loved the fire pit, and the bike trail around the island. Can go to the other side to experience the river side as they call it. People are friendly and laid back.

This is far from a resort but the location is outstanding! Literally steps away from the beach. The pool area could use a major make over. The lounge chairs and umbrellas are either filthy or broken or both. The bar is close but pointless. The bartender lacks experience and supplies. The landscaping is well kept but pest control seems to be bottom of their list of concerns. The room was clean and well kept. I'd definitely book again but the lounge furniture, pool area and pool bar needs major attention.
