I stay at this Holiday Inn,  for a week at a time.  At least once a year.  For the past 4 years. Restaurant has decent Bar,  great food.... Breakfast and dinner.  Friendly staff,  I do not have, not one compliant.  Nice and safe location

When you call the Holiday Inn in Rocky Mount, the staff calls it "award-winning" when they answer the phone. It may have won some awards years ago, but right now it's in desperate need of updating. For example, the last time I stayed here my room's thermostat was broken and needed repair. This time the outlet between the beds doesn't work. The rooms are a little outdated, but clean. They're often out of coffee in the lobby. Besides one of the desk clerks, the staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar looks a little rough, but the food is good and the portions are huge. We really like the restaurant staff. On the other side of 64 there's a Courtyard by Marriott that's much nicer and newer. Unfortunately my company books me the cheapest option, and the Holiday Inn usually wins.

Typical Holiday Inn. Full-service. Nothing free. Overpriced and unremarkable restaurant. Congenial service crew. Business Center, pool, Fitness Center. Clean and comfortable rooms. Average in that this is what one expects from a full-service Holiday Inn. Nothing special what does the job at a price.

We live here in Rocky Mount, and yesterday the AC went out. We called our friendly Holiday Inn and we were home again! We have stayed there in the past, and they are the most friendly people. Kenya at the front desk was a breath of fresh cool air. The Staff at the Bistro were all smiles. The room was cool and wonderful, very comfortable bed, very clean. Nice shower pressure and plenty of soft towels. What more can you ask for? A big smile from James in the morning as we left out.

You get what you pay for and well at $150 a night you get just that. Had car trouble while evacuating Florida, no rooms anywhere but this place. Treated professionally and politely got us into a room, for a first decent nights sleep in 3 days. Great place to stay can't go wrong here.
