I like this property. It does actually have a pond with three black swans in it and there's a restaurant next door called the spike and rail that serves very good food. The rooms are very comfortable I have stayed here multiple times and we'll come back. It is more country / home-like than chic so if that matters, now you know.

Checked in late in the evening the person working the front counter was pleasant, professional and helpful. There was a problem with the bathroom door of the first room that I was assigned after bringing it to the front desks attention I was assigned a different room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. The styling of the hotel is cute, and the fountains are nice. They are remodeling rooms of the hotel, but I didn't notice any signs of construction other than passing workers in the hallway and equipment in the parking lot.

Room smelled damp and service in restaurant not particularly good. Comfy bed though.

Checked in at 10:30pm they gave me room 136 while walking down the hallway the place stunk badthat should have rang a bell. I blew it off thinking the room must be better this is a holiday inn? Going in the room was hot and smelly couldn't get the AC unit to come on called the front desk they had to reset it. Then nothing but hot stinky air??? I'm thinking you got to be kidding! I couldn't take the smell any longer and requested another room. Front desk sent me the housekeeper to guide me to the next room down the stinky hallway with wrinkled dirty carpet? You'd better be careful when walking down this hallway. The next room was 120 housekeeper asked hows this room any better? I laughed and replied the place stinks, but I'm too tired to go look for another room i just finished a six hour drive. I can't hardly believe I'm in a Holiday Inn. I should've took the extra 30 minutes to stay down the road in the hotel I frequent weekly. You can bet i'll drive by this dump in the future! My best advice to anyone thinking to stay here is drive past as fast as you can. This place stinks !

Some rooms are nice, some are mold and mildew smelling. Stayed here A month, after 2 weeks, we got put in the construction/renovation area. It left much to be desired. I recommend Kingsburg.
