Welcome to Holiday Lodge! We are located in the heart of beautiful Giles County, at the foot of Angel's Rest.

Story

We are an independent, EXTENDED stay, economy, contractor and hiker motel. People LIVE and stay here long term when performing contracted work in our community; hikers stay on their way through the trail and people live here in between transitioning and moving. This is an economy lodge, we are not a luxury motel. We are a low income, hiker and workers motel please plan accordingly when making your reservations.

Hiking the Appalachian trail and this hotel located in convenient location to trail, yes rooms are dated but beds are very comfortable and shower works well and the pool is nicely located in the full sun, close to restaurants and shops. All that is needed after hiking I can assure you. If your complaining about this hotel after roughing it on the trail your just miserable people and doubt anything would keep you happy 😊

Spent a couple nights here as an AT hiker along with several friends. The rooms are old and some are repurposed, for instance, one room had 2 beds but only one headboard and the second bed blocked the door to the adjoining room. The rooms are spacious, fairly well maintained, and clean. I did have a cold shower one morning, but the beds are comfy and I slept great.

It's nasty they got black mold and bed bugs would not recommend this to anyone

Was traveling south, and this was the first hotel with a vacant room.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
My room was clean!
