Great place for a nature walk. We got to see the Great Blue Herons in their rookery in June/July. There were 7 heron couples in nests all in one tree. It was amazing. We must've gotten there at the right time since they're all gone now. The trails are pretty easy, there's some ruins I'd like to learn more about. Time for research!

You can easily spend hours in this park!
*ACCESSIBILITY: Only the main trail is level and could be accessed by wheelchair, but has a gravel surface, so it would be exercise. A power chair should be able to handle it. Note: ONLY the main trail is accessible like this.*
     Many great trails, but most of them are unmarked. Take the straight trail past the picnic pavilion, follow it through the fence, and you can walk all the way to Yates Cider Mill.
Be sure to come back often, and allow time to explore. Plenty of photo opps if you're a photographer!

Love taking a walk through here it's quite and beautiful off the normal paths and a great place to think clearly
