Hollars Grocery is a small town convenient/general store located in the quiet little town of Courtney, Yadkinville, NC. Opening in the early 1940.s, Hollars has been a store of many generations. The store transitioned to owners in July of 2016 by S & J Pitstop, LLC, but still operating under the name of Hollars Grocery.
The new unique logo of Humpty Dumpty is taken from the owner's grandparents store that operated under the name of Humpty Dumpty Grocery serving four locations in Thomasville, North Carolina. Now, those store have closed, the Humpty Dumpty logo will continue its distinguished cartoon like character in Courtney, Yadkinville, NC.
The store has been through a transformation by adding a new beverage bar of slushy, coffee, nachos/cheese, and prepared sandwiches. Several new surprises to the store are Lottery, Alcoholic Beverages, Homemade Cooking/Desserts, popcorn popped daily, extended grocery items, and new coolers filled with various sodas/drinks from Cheerwine, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Monster, and Gatorade.
The good ole southern country charm will continue at Hollars, and we welcome all to step back into time to visit a southern classic.
