No stores within miles so if you want a pure beach experience without crowds or commercialism then this is the place. You'll have to bring everything needed with you for your stay. The porta-potties are great though they need to add some trash cans for those visitors less responsible in packing garbage out. Seems two wheel drive people get stuck in the sand all of the time so a tow rope comes in handy for you or someone else who's gotten themselves stuck. Posted speed limit of 10mph on the sand!

Serenity over amenities. This is a basic RV park with full hookups, no community batheooms or showers. But so quiet, peaceful, and just a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach with great shell collecting potential. The hosts are friendly and helpful, as are other guests. An all around perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Mr. Abshire is such an amazing, sweet, and caring park owner. He treats his tenats as if they are extended family. The park is small and quite. Within a very short walking distance to the beach. They have fish cleaning stations, bbq pits, and picnic tables, all available for use behind your spot. If you have 2 vehicles you are allowed to park in the grass in front of your RV space. Which is extremely nice not having to walk far. You have your own private mail box, and are allowed to purchase your own Wi-Fi services. It is a bit of a drive to get to the store, but for those who enjoy a quite space in the country, it's definitely worth it.

The city listed is wrong for this address. It is not in Hackberry. It is actually in Holly Beach. Holly Beach shares the same zip code as Cameron, LA 70631. So the correct address should be listed as: 2249 Mallard St, Cameron, LA 70631.
