WATER IN DIESEL FUEL!! I FILLED UP MY TRUCK HERE INSTEAD OF GOING TO MY USUAL STATION BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF DIESEL AND MY LIGHT INDICATING WATER IN MY FUEL CAME ON AND HAS BEEN ON! I CALLED THE HOLLYS STATION THEY WERE RUDE AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO THAT I HAD TO CALL RALPH... CALLED HIM MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL HE FINALLY ANSWERED 2 DAYS LATER AND HE TELLS ME THERE IS NO WAY THERE IS WATER IN THE DIESEL BECAUSE HIS TRUCKS FILL UP THERE TOO. HOW DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE? AS A BUSINESS OWNER MYSELF I WILL MAKE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT HOLLYS AND THEIR BAD FUEL. LITTLE DOES RALPH KNOW HE LOST A CUSTOMER THAT GOT OIL FROM HIM FOR 7 YEARS NOW AND WILL NEVER GET GAS OR DIESEL FROM HOLLYS AGAIN.

I felt obligated o to write a review after casually seeing the couple of negative reviews posted. I have used Holly’s consistently for 7 years. At first because during the height of oil prices at $3.69/gal they were willing to deliver 100 gal. I feel for the guy who had a oil overflow. I’ve had that myself where the company used the wrong pipe and basically created a Hazmat situation in my basement – but it was another company entirely and they were pretty unsympathetic to my horror. I think in short most oil companies are ill equipped to handle oil spills and that is a problem.  But in the 7 years at 3 or 4 deliveries a month during the coldest months Holly’s has delivered consistently on the days I’ve asked for. I love that they give a volume discount for over 150 gals. I check the amount delivered and have never had to question it. I like their online ordering option. I even have come to like the screaming pink website. I’ve had to call the office a couple of times and had a friendly customer service experience. When I’ve had occasion to talk to the drivers they’ve been very professional.  There are lots of companies out there for oil delivery but it would take a lot for me not to be loyal to Holly’s.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in recordkeeping and organization. I have run out of oil multiple times while being on automatic fill up and continually have to follow up with them! I will never do business with them again...

On 6/18/2014 I paid for 100 gallons of oil that was never delivered.  The tank was not empty before the supposed delivery. I had between 1/8 and 1/4 a tank on the gauge.  I did not look at the tank for 10 days (in the summer) I notified the owner as soon as I noticed the gauge was lower than before the delivery.  I had a licensed furnace technician verify that my gauge is not broken and I have 9 inches of oil in a tank that is 45 inches deep.  Possibly 50 gallons. It is a 275 gallon tank.  They insist that I received the oil.  When the kid came back to check my tank for them the first thing he said was"I have never been here before".  I showed him the receipt and he said it was his. He tried to to check the oil level with a tree limb that he found in my backyard. I believe that I was targeted because I paid cash in advance at the Westbrook location,  I was a new customer,  a senior citizen and my information on the receipt was hand printed.  I have filed a police report but if you are a victim please file a police report and contact the BBB.  Any reputable dealer would have come to my home if they were concerned that a driver was cheating them.  I had to buy from another company.  I am out $323.90
