Story

We've been in business for more than 100 years with many revolutions. We offer bridal, mother of the bride, bridesmaid, prom, KoH, tuxes, shoes, jewelry, accessories, ready-to-wear casual clothing and much more! Come in and check us out. If you don't see something you like, we might just be able to order it for you.

I originally bought my dress on a WWW. shop, first mistake! The dress was good, but I needed it altered. I called on a Thursday and spoke to a lady and scheduled a fitting on that following Saturday. On that Saturday, I was fitted by the owner Jill; and she was ok. EXCEPT she kept going on and on about how I didn't get the dress from her shop. NOT ONCE did she mention how she shouldn't take this fitting order since I didn't get the dress from her shop. I did this on 05/03/2014 and she said it will be done is 2 weeks. When I called on 05/17/2014; the lady that answered said the dress hadn't come back in. I called on that Tuesday, still nothing. It FINALLY arrived 3 days before my wedding. When I got into town, it was too late to try it on, so I paid by fees and went to my hotel. Once I got the dress out (It wasn't on it's hanger, it was laying on the bottom of the bag), I slipped into it...the fit was perfect BUT I had this other piece of material tacked to the wrong place!! When we called Jill on her cell, there was no answer and she never called back (We left a voicemail). When I called her shop that next day, she said that there wasn't a single thing she could do to help, until AFTER the wedding!! She said that this was EXACTLY why she should have never agreed to the order for a dress not from her shop. And that I taught her a very good lesson and she will never take another dress not purchased from her shop again. When I asked of i could have a portion of the money refunded for the error, she straight up refused and went back to saying there wasn't anything that could be done until after the wedding. She also stated that she wasn't going to give me her seamstress's number, because she didn't want me to holler at her...note I did not once yell nor did I ask for anyone's number. As a business owner, Jill was very unpleasant to work with and extremely unprofessional. She made the comment about how I should have bought my dress from her and when I told her I ordered on line because I knew it would be hard to find a dress in my size (Plus size) she went on to say that she has a lot of dresses for "my kind". Who says that? This owner does not have a filter or any manners. I will never recommend ANYONE to do business with this shop EVER!
