Good Kosher, Israeli Mediterranean food. The schnitzel was battered, and fried well. The Shawarma is tender and juicy. The side salads are fresh and crunchy and the Hummus is nice and creamy. Very casual. No waiters or table service. You order at the counter and pick up. Clean place. Small strip center with parking. Vegetarian options: Many salads, Hummus, Baba Ganoush and Falafel. No dairy at this restaurant. Parking: Strip center with a small parking lot. Plenty of street parking also Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible and one dedicated handicapped parking.
I recently had the London broil baguette sandwich at Holy Grill and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was cooked to perfection and the bread was fresh and crispy. But what really made the sandwich stand out was the flavor from the toppings. I especially loved the red charif, which gave the sandwich a nice kick of spice. If you're planning on trying out Holy Grill, I highly recommend taking the pro tip to heart and going for the green charif if you're not a fan of too much spice. Overall, the food was fantastic and the service was friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.
Food is plentiful and good. I had falafel platter, which was good, although the falafel is much smaller than I'm accustomed to. The salads were good. Unfortunately, the noise level is not comfortable inside, and in order to even hear each other talk, we had to sit outside, which was getting coolFood: 4/5
I just returned from an unforgettable experience at Holy Grill, and let me tell you, the 40-minute drive from home was worth every mile! From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for something special. My experience at Holy Grill was nothing short of exceptional! As a lover of authentic Israeli cuisine, I was delighted to find a place that truly captures the essence of it. But what made this visit truly memorable was seeing my twin boys, 20 years old and with discerning tastes, thoroughly enjoy their meals. One of my sons opted for the chicken shawarma, and I witnessed a look of sheer bliss wash over his face with every bite. He was so impressed that he insisted on getting an extra portion for his dad, who unfortunately couldn't join us that day. And let me tell you, that shawarma was indeed heavenly! Meanwhile, my other son, who indulged in the hamburger, echoed my sentiments, declaring that the drive-time was totally worth it and is already planning his next visit. This speaks volumes about the quality of Holy Grill's offerings and the lasting impression it leaves on its patrons. As for me, I savored the chicken shawarma plate, which was generously portioned. In fact, it was so sizable that I had to split it into two servings, one for immediate enjoyment and the other to savor later. And despite not being a regular meat eater, I couldn't resist diving into this dish, and it was absolutely worth it! We're already making plans for our next visit because we know we'll inevitably crave the authentic flavors of Israeli cuisine again. Holy Grill has earned our highest recommendation, and we can't wait to share this culinary gem with everyone we know. If you haven't tried it yet, you're truly missing out!
It really hurts me to not write a 5 star review for this place because they absolutely can have that rating. I deliver from this restaurant often and they just keep frustrating me with things. The food is amazing when it’s good. The problem is that they are not as consistent and the quality can be amazing to sub par. I’m taking off a star for that reason. The most frustrating part is their lack of following the order + instructions this is sad to see when they attach a receipt of your order with said instructions to the order. When ordering a plate which normally is the most expensive way of ordering an entree it normally comes with many sides which makes the meal and can ruin it when not provided. Another star taken off for constantly getting the order wrong and being lazy. I will still order from them and will gladly change my review if someone sees this and incorporates change. Again, they do provide amazing food.
Absolutely love this place. Fresh ingredients, large portions, easy parking. Might be the best shawarma in LA. Can’t wait to come back!Food: 5/5
I came here for the first time to try the shawarma. I saw they offered the solika sandwich on fridays so I switched my order. Not gonna lie, it was really really good. Shnitzel with eggplants on challah bread. I was pleasantly surprised as I usually like the valley kosher spots more than the ones in Pico Robertson.Food: 5/5
Highest quality shawarma place in the area. Their schnitzel is also a 10/10. Highly recommend going here.Food: 5/5
I ordered the shawarma laffa and they delivered the ingredients in a box. Do not trust Holy Grill to get your order right! They do not deserve your money or respect. Order from any other Kosher restaurant, and you will be pleased.Food: 1/5
good quality and quantity of the food. A bit pricy but good.Food: 5/5
