My father recently passed away. Holy Rosary was not our first choice but it was the nearest hospital from where we lived with the medical resources needed in an emergency. He started in the emergency room where they refused to let me back, the office lady stared me dead in the eyes as she called a code blue for my dad over the speaker. He was immediately transferred to the icu intibated. We went 2 hours in a crammed room before I finally had to call and ask what was happening with my father when they told us it should only be a few minutes. It took about 15 more minutes for someone to come out and talk to us. When the doctor finally came out he told us a list of things he think could of happened and told us it still wouldn't be a good idea to see him. Half an hour later I was fed up all I wanted was to see my dad when I had to call again and basically beg to go see him. The nurses and doctor had ZERO sympathy. We felt so uncomfortable and so uninformed. The doctor then referred us to hospice. We refused because he couldn't tell us why. We later decided to take him off of life support. We didn't hear a sorry for your loss once. We couldn't say our final goodbyes without the staff staring down our backs. We finally had to yell at them to give us some privacy. When we were on our way out they were all laughing in their little "office area" and quickly stopped when we walked passed. In the hallway on our way out of the hospital without our father some lady opened the door showing us his lifeless body laying there. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. They wouldn't even receive one star if it gave me an option. ALSO two hours later we received a call asking for his eyes and skin because he was a donor. When we denied the request the lady on the phone had the nerve to ask us what we had against blind people and refused to take no for an answer until we finally hung up on her! ZERO SYMPATHY. To them it was nothing more then a job.

Friendly staff, doctor Caldwell was the first doctor to listen to me and not just tell me my pain was all in my head.

two visits and we will never go there again, regardless of the reason! Most of the ER staff seemed like bumbling idiots, never actually saw a doctor, only a PA. The PA (Valeri Russell) was not very educated and couldn't answer our questions, also wouldn't provide a doctor when requested. Weeks later, after reviewing records from the ER visit, we were shocked at the lack of facts and abundance of opinions provided, particularly from the PA! She completely changed the facts that were given by the family member accompanying the patient, unbelievably inaccurate description of injury as well as patient's reactions! The attending nurse was not as bad, but again the facts were not as stated by the family member, more opinions, not enough fact! Steer clear of that hospital and continue to a standard hospital that practices with educated doctors, not wish-they-could-have-been-a-doctor! Best part of the experience was the education our family received before we needed care for a life threatening problem!
