I ordered the burrito bowl and it was supposed to come on a bed of mixed greens and was supposed to have avocado and chorizo. It was onions, tater tots and eggs. Not only did they misrepresent what was in the food, it smelled terrible and I threw it away immediately. Unfortunately, I read the other reviews after ordering. At 3am, if you’re wasted, I could maybe see someone thinking the food is edible. But in a city like Portland where there are so many good dining options, how is this place still in business? I would give it zero stars if I could.
Ordered from Homage around 5:40 am. I was excited to see someplace open at that time that had a menu with so many choices and good ones. The food was prepared and delivered via doordash. The food came earlier than the eta given, which was great for me. The food itself was really good. I had a Veggie Melt on Hoagie that was huge and sooo good. My partner, who isn't huge on mushrooms and definitely not on swiss cheese, I heard "moaning" in the kitchen with a big bite in his mouth and ready to take a second big bite! I also ordered the french toast with extra whipped cream. Win for both my partner and I, as well. Last but not least, a fruit cup and orange juice. While the fruit seemed to be freezer preserved, it was still really good, overall fresh and plump good quality. Banana slices were NOT frozen and perfectly sweet. Oj was sweet and thick but not too pulpy. I'm stoked I came across Homage Indus. Kitchen and will be ordering in the near future and recommending to friends and family. Pictures were taken after the food sat out for a little while and clearly had been munched on, sorry!
My sandwiches had spoiled avocado, peppers and onions. Our “freshly” squeezed orange juice was HALF full and from a bottle. I’m glad we didn’t receive our fresh fruit because I’m scared it would have came fruit flies. I called the number associated with this place and it was a cell phone number of someone who runs it and they tried to talk circles around me. There is no “let’s try to problem solve this”. You are the problem. Solve it.
Outstanding customer service but because of the sheer volume sometimes people have to wait a little longer for their orders so some reviews do look challenging but trust me for someone who has had 25 years of food service experience including owning his own place people here stand up to the challenge just seems sometimes a little short-staffed which is every restaurant right now but everything I've seen delivered or tasted was excellent highly recommend this place
Bought a burger at 3:30 in the morning and it was the best burger. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend Will eat here again.
Apparently, as the customer, it is your fault that the cook here is ‘the only one cooking and on a busted foot’. I was picking up a door dash order and not only did she say that to me with the worst possible attitude, she said she wasn’t allowed to quote times for the finished order, then berated her fellow employee for asking her if she had a time estimate for me. Someone should let her know that almost every other place in Portland is hiring if she hates her job so much.
I ordered take out from Toastys Burritos on Uber eats and was sent here to pick it up. It was not a great experience. They forgot half the order to start with and then ended up giving me wrong size drink and expired fruit salad. The Loco moco burrito was dry and I'd never personally go back there.Food: 1/5
Good prices, really enjoyable menu w/ many many choices. My partner got the brisket burrito, which he liked so much we ordered again a few days later. I got a 3 piece chicken strips, not realizing it came w/ fries, I also got an order of cheesy/bacon tots. Which were fabulous. Plus theyre open late at night! Bonus tip: they sell surprise bags on the “TooGoodToGo” app— for $5-6, you get more food for your buck, and they get to reduce their food waste. 5 stars all around.
I've been here once as a customer, and several times as a delivery driver. I agree with almost everything other drivers have said, but at the end of the day it seems like they're chronically understaffed for the volume they expect. The wait time is always excessive. The staff, especially that one woman, always look tired, and I don't blame them in the slightest for their frustrations. If I had to go to work everyday to be that stressed out, listening to the receipt machine spit out orders continuously with not enough people to make them while a pile of drivers stack up in the lobby, I'd probably snap more than occasionally. Advice: get more staff. If you can't afford to, maybe reconsider the business you're in cause the model seems cracked.
This is a ghost kitchen. A food processing plant. Extremely understaffed and the employees are incredibly rude to delivery drivers. I witnessed several arguments started by the employees while I waited over an hour to pick up an order that they marked as ready. They serve a million different items and all poorly. They rebrand on delivery apps to hide they're all the same company. Do not support this business.
