I stumbled upon Home Frite after class and was delighted with my experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring I had a great visit. As someone who doesn’t eat beef, I was thrilled that I could easily swap out a beef burger for a veggie burger. And let me tell you, the veggie burger was absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and satisfying in every bite. The truffle fries were the perfect complement, crispy and bursting with that irresistible truffle aroma. This place is a gem, and I will definitely be back in the future. Five stars!  Vegetarian options: You can swap out any beef patty for a veggie patty.

The truffle burger was great. The burger had a cream sauce that blended well with the burger.  Tasted good and was not falling apart as I ate it. Definitely my top 3 favorite burgers in NY.

Food was good, burgers were a bit too salty in my opinion. But I didn’t get the buffalo sauce I ordered with my fries. Instead I got some kind of hot sauce. Didn’t realize it til I got home.Food: 5/5

Wow.  I've had a lot of truffle fries in my life and these are not only great they got the recipe DOWN but they're refreshingly different.  I appreciate that this place doesn't take a formulaic approach to food, but instead, builds a unique flavor on top of traditional comfort food.  It works.  The veggie burger hits and I'm saving the Nashville chicken as a future gift to myself.  Love the vibe. Thank you.  Vegetarian options: The veggie burger is awesome.

I was super hyped to try Home Frite, but was a little disappointed to get up to the entrance and realize that you can only order for takeaway. A little confusing as other images show tables inside… All things considering, the frites were solid, especially when dipped in the chipotle ranch and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was tasty with just the right amount of spicy kick.  Will look to try it at Smorgasburg next time around.

Ordered 2 burgers, 2 chicken sandwiches, and some fries to go. When we got home to enjoy them, we noticed none of them had bottom buns. Im not sure if this was intentional or not, but the food was decent. Not sure if having the bottom buns would have changed anything. Maybe easier to eat.Food: 3/5

Got these for delivery with no real expectations, and our whole household agreed these are our go-to now. Great smash burgers top to bottom with way more attention to ingredients and cooking process than any "fast food." The fries are ridiculous, and the shakes were fantastic too with great flavors and really thick high quality whipped cream. No notes.

Hey there, store owner or manager! Gotta be honest with you, I really love your food, but I gotta get something off my chest about the salads. Today, I swung by to grab my usual salad and I specifically asked twice if the dressing was in the bag. Unfortunately, nope, nada, zilch! Ended up with a dry salad and a container of hot sauce. Seriously, where's the blue cheese dressing I was expecting?! It's my favorite! And speaking of favorites, the hot honey salad is a letdown. They drown it in the hot honey sauce to the point where the salad loses its crunch and becomes a soggy mess. It would be awesome if you could provide some training or a checklist to your crew. I really want to support local businesses, but come on, delivering what's on the menu should be the bare minimum, right? Thanks for listening!

I’ve lived near this place for the past 2 years and am a frequent costumer. My go-to order is the loaded chili fries and a Rice Krispie treat, and I love them both. I ordered today and 1 they gave me the chopped burger fries instead; 2 the portion size of fries has shrunk so much even though it’s not cheap; 3 the Rice Krispie was stale and tasted so bad I had to spit it out. The fries are delicious so I won’t completely stop going to this place, but I wish the food was more consistent in its quality. I’d recommend checking your order before leaving the store.
