Great staff and so friendly. Found what we needed close to home
My cohorts and I have spent millions here over the past 20 years. I like the crew that works here. Low turn over in the staff. These people have no problem looking after contractors and the average consumer. Well stocked store. Damn good lumber yard. You can order all kinds of custom tiles, fixtures and flooring. They have moved all of the business to the Morrow Street location. Pricing is fair and competitive. You want it, they got it.
5 star staff and the guys in the yard. And when you run out of wrapping paper for Christmas the receipts work great ! 5 stars !

I do not know her name, but she was so helpful and practical! For saving time, I paid while she was copying the key and to reduce the risk of coming back. She made 2 keys, and I want to tell from here that one is worked! Thank you! Smooth service
I’ve been a patron of this HH for 2.5 years. I am a local business owner. I’ve always gotten good service. The female employees that I’ve mostly dealt with are friendly and helpful. Especially the woman with the blue dyed hair. My experience today was bad enough to warrant me to give a 1 star review. Not having been to this location for over 3 months, I was unaware that there was no longer curbside pickup. I asked the floor manager, a large gray haired man, about the new rules. He informed me that I would have to call ahead of time and that I would have to wait 45-1hr for my order. His tone of voice was very aggressive and his overall manner was dismissive. I proceeded to call and place my order. A man with a European accent took my call. I’m used to the staff being helpful, in so far as making recommendations on what the best options for tools and materials are. Unfortunately this was definitely not the case this time. Again, I was handled very rudely. The staff member was condescending and refused to give helpful advice. Overall it was a disappointing and frustrating experience. In the future I’m going to make an effort to go elsewhere. It’s a shame.
Standing in line for a few minutes and I saw the man working there yell at three different people including myself. They have a policy that you have to call before you come in however there are things that just can’t be ordered online. I understand that it is a stressful time, however that man should not be working in the front as his people skills are next to zero. A little patience and explanation would go along way even if they have a strict policy. I’m a customer that has been there many times, however I will not be returning even if it requires a longer drive
These people are the best. Friendly and helpful. I'm always amazed that I can find what I need in a small neighbourhood hardware store. The lumber yard is hidden behind the store and they have been helpful with awkward cuts that I can't do as a homeowner without all the toys that contractors have. They've been recommended to me many times by contractors and neighbours and I'll continue to recommend them to others. It's nice to be able to get what I need without having to drive out of the 'hood to a big box.
