Joe and Vera were great on the phone, very professional, reasonably priced and provided us with piece of mind that we would be in great hands with the team assigned to move us. Boy! were they right, Danny and his team were great!, they came in, took over and handled our stuff with care. I've never seen people work that fast. I have moved quite a few times and have never had a better experience. Vera is great, everything happened exactly the way she said it would, no surprises and the movers were great! Everyone was extremely professional! Would and will totally recommend them to everyone. Thanks for making it such a great and stress free move!

Very organized and professional. I love how that when they give you a quote, it is for the maximum price. I heard of other companies giving prices out then charging fees the day of for moving blankets/steps/etc. Vera was amazing to work with. She helped organize everything through email and made sure that the move went perfect. I also love how fast she answers any questions I have!

HMS is by far the best company out there in the moving industry. It was my first time using a moving company and I was moving from a 2nd floor 1-bedroom apartment to a single family house 5 minutes apart from one another. I put my contact information online and within minutes I had so many calls from a lot of other companies out there. I got quotes from as low $295 to as high as $900. Reviews for all the companies were either terrible or 50/50 - some good, some bad. All of them had one thing in common though - they only quoted me an estimate, which was subject to change the day of the move based on the work load going into the move. I couldn't get my head around accepting that so I kept searching and finally (thankfully!!) ran into HMS. They actually sent someone out to assess the furniture, apartment stairs, etc. and gave me a fixed quote. I was so impressed with the reviews online and the fixed price that I immediately scheduled them. There was a slight hiccup 3 days before the move and the owner called me up to discuss. Apparently the person that came out was still new to the company and he under-estimated the work, which obviously resulted in an inaccurate quote. The owner had to add 2 hours to the quote which increased my rate, and being 3 days out, I couldn't look for another company so I had to accept it unfortunately. I was not happy about it but I literally had no other option. The owner was very nice though and according to him, increased my quote purely based on what he would be charging his men, without making any profit. He also informed me that the price would be adjusted if the work was done quicker. The day of the move came and I was going to make sure no time was being wasted since I was being charged by the hour. Three men came in prompt on time and got right to work which was great to see. Within an hour, the lead employee actually had to call the owner and inform him that they'll definitely be done before the estimated completion time. Then out of no where, 3 additional men showed up to assist. I was so confused but I was later informed that one of their trucks broke down, so they needed to speed up my move in order to use the truck for another move they had scheduled. Without being charged any extra, I had my move complete in a matter of 2.5 hours and was only charged for 3 hours and 3 men, which came out to be cheaper than the initial on-site quote I received. It was great to see how the company handled a dilemma. All 6 men, despite being on a timed schedule, and actually delayed for the other client they had, still worked carefully and patiently to make sure my furniture was not damaged. Everything was so well packaged and well protected. Even when we arrived to my new house, they requested a walk-through to see where and how I want the furniture laid out which was not expected. These guys really know what they're doing and I loved the honestly when it came to having the owner call me due to an employee error and also keeping his word on adjusting the price if the job was done quicker. The men who performed the move were also super friendly and cared for the furniture as it was their own. I have already recommended HMS to one of my co workers who also had a great experience with them. Thank you!!
