The best 1 star pizza I've ever had. Restaurants, like many things, are teams. While a team must have a leader and will always have a weak link, sometimes that weak link can be weak enough that the entire goal falls apart. On September 3 2017 at 4 o clock local time at home slice that weakest link was the bartender. 0 greeting as we walked in as they were helping a customer, understandable if it wasn't followed by another nonexistent greeting. My wife and I proceeded to the helpful individual at the register to order our reasonably priced designer pizza and informed the cashier that we would be at the bar. We were to be at the bar in hopes of ordering beer. Once we got situated at the bar it was an extremely long amount of time before my wife pointed out that the bartender had not offered us drinks despite her ID being prominently displayed on the bar. Initially I shrugged it off as a missed connection, but eventually this gave way to intently watching him help other customers, talk to his fellow employees, restock the bar, do some dishes, eat some food, doing basically anything a bartender could do in a bar, other than helping the two individuals in front of him. Where this reaches the low point is where I have to go back to the register, order two fountain drinks, and then proceed to drink bag soda instead of the beer that is 2 feet from my wife and I because the person responsible for distributing said beer has better things to do than their job. The pizza was great, a creative well executed pie that tasted as good as it looks, this is a 4 out of 5 pizza next to a 0 out of 5 experience. Now isn't this all a little extreme, isn't this story out of the ordinary? It may be, but this is the one and only experience I will ever have at this restaurant, and it is a 1 out of 5 stars. I hope all other patrons have a better experience than I.

Pizza by the slice, or whole pie's made-to-order. The small restaurant put on a dazzling display of the local culture. A bit crowded, but the small pizza counter offered enough seating for those choosing to eat-in. The smell of delicious pizza filled the place from door to door. Furthermore, we actually received the wrong pizza at first, but the staff were polite and understanding: despite a bit of an extra wait for our pizza, Home Slice Pizza maintained a 5-star experience!

Good pizza, sure, but the homemade rolls are not to be missed. We liked them so much we bought extra for the road. Cute place, pleasant staff, worth the extra walk (or getting in the car) from downtown.

They are always so stoned in the kitchen. It really exercises ones patience. It's always best to call it in or have delivery.

Worst pizza we ever had. Greasy. No care about the love of serving good nurturing food. Just another fake food serving business.
