Very crowded store but found a lot of neat things! Visited when on vacation in Tampa. 

When I returned back home I could not find the receipt from my purchases to return one item. I called the store to find the transaction and the lady was very nice about it while informing me this process was a bit more than just looking it up and it might take a while. She was still willing to do this for me and call me back when she found something. I really appreciated that she was still willing to put in the hour of work (her estimated time it would take to find since I didn't know which register) to help me out. I know how annoying that can be after working in retail for a brief time. I ended up finding the receipt and calling back to let her know. Thanks Alysia!!

I could honestly spend an entire day here and never get sick of it. I'd only get sick of the perfume some of the customers bathe in. They have everything I could ever want or need for my new place. I just wish the parking situation was a tad bit better but I understand sharing a plaza and having to share the parking.

I love this store, this is probably the more heavily trafficked store in Tampa, opposed to the one in north Tampa/Lutz area. I wanted to say one thing in this review though - whatever new LIGHTING they have in this store is absolutely awful. It is TOO bright and it makes my eyes tweak really bad, almost makes me feel like it's going to set off a migraine. It's new since I've been in and I don't like it. I will shop at HomeGoods, but I pray it's not like this in the store in Lutz. I can't be shopping for a migraine trigger. I get them plenty enough already.

The Home Goods in South Tampa is one of the best Home Goods I’ve ever been to. It is a large store with a huge selection.

My wife and I shop at this particular store religiously, but after today's awful customer service we will no longer be shopping here. My wife and I found an accent piece of furniture that had a price sticker of $39.99 on it. While my wife and I were debating on buying the piece we saw no other price sticker on the item. When we brought the item to the register to pay for it we were greeted by a rude cashier. Apparently there was an additional price tag hanging underneath the piece that was not visible unless you searched for it. The price was $70 and the price difference was not a big deal, but the way that the lady handled the situation was unprofessional and rude. When I explained to the lady that we never saw that price and only the one that was visible. She said "we will not honor it" in a rude manner. At this point it was based upon principle that we decided to not buy the item. As we were walking away the lady mumbled "today is going to be a crazy day". I'm disgusted in the lack of professionalism displayed towards us (the customer). As a business owner, I understand how far customer service goes - this was a classics case on "what not to do in customer service".
