This hardware store is clean and organized. I was able to buy a few spare nuts and bolts that I needed to complete a project versus buying a whole package at the big box store. The cashier was really fun and I enjoyed talking with her. Will continue to shop here.

I was recently in Brookings doing some fixing on a house.  Homestead was far more efficient and reasonable than the local Lowes.  I needed small amounts of building materials and they gladly delivered without a charge.  Lowes charges start at $59.  The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, handling everything from full building packages to single plumbing items.
