I switched to Dr. Rouse and staff after having some not so great experiences with another vet where I felt like they didn't take the time to listen to my concerns about my pets.  Since I  have been coming to Homestead we have received excellent care.  Even the other vets that are at the office are caring and have great bedside manner.  

Recently, we had to put our aging dog to sleep, after years of trying to chase this or that condition to keep him comfortable.  Dr. Rouse and her tech were outstanding through this procedure.  They came right to our home so we wouldn't have to traumatize the rest of the 'family'.  They cared for Jake as if he were their own, they walked us through each step of the process with care and consideration.  End of life process is tough for anyone, but they handled it superbly and I have to say it was the most pleasant experience I've had when having to deal with death.  They mentioned how the cremation services they use are top notch and very caring.  I didn't realize how so, until I got the ashes back a week later.  Jake came in a beautiful wooden box and they even took an imprint of his paw and left us a clipping of his hair.  It was very moving.

I highly recommend Dr. Rouse and all of her staff.

Dr. Rouse is the kindest, calmest person.  She never makes us feel rushed and takes the time to answer all of our questions in depth.  She is a very competent veterinarian and also very loving toward Milo.  The people in the office have always been very friendly and helpful as well.  I highly recommend her!
