Not one smile from any personnel. Very unhappy staff or they do not like non-indians. Casino is a joke and my bathroom would make a better poker room. Non-smoking wing/rooms plagued with smoke till 1AM and I could not sleep due to allergy. Video games ripped off my kids and vending machine ripped me off. The front desk offered no help or refund. I would never revisit or recommend this facility to anybody.

This “resort” had the worst customer service out of any hotel I have ever stayed. We would have had better service if we would have stayed a motel six. I wouldn’t go back if someone paid, and will make sure everyone I know does not waste their time! Details of our visit bellow… I made a reservation for this hotel about a month in advance. I confirmed my reservations three separate times. (At one point I decided to add a golf package so my husband and his friend could golf while we were there.) Since we were going with another couple I requested a two bedroom room, with beds, and was told this could be provided. When we check into the hotel it was a nightmare. First we asked for directions to the golf course our package was for. There were three people at the desk and no one knew where it was. One employee (while standing directly in front of me), turned to the woman helping us and told her “we are too busy right now, tell them to come back later”, instead of just addressing me. We were also the only group checking in. When we got up to the room it was nice. It was clean and had two restrooms. However, there was a king bed, behind a half of wall, and an open entry way, with a fold out couch in the common area. In other words there was no privacy between the sleeping areas, and this is not the room that I had reserved. We called the front desk immediately. I was told there was a two bedroom room, but it had already been rented for the evening. After speaking to the manager we were told that she could provide a room for the couple with us at no charge for the first night, but they would be charged for the second night, and that it was the best they could do. This room was completely on the opposite side of the hotel, directly between the public restroom, and casino. While checking into that room we watched a couple come up, slip the desk man money, and get the room directly underneath ours. It was unbelievable. The next morning, our smoke detector started chirping from a low batter at 5:45 am. When I called the front desk I was told maintenance wasn’t there till 7, and I would be added to this list and have to wait. The second room our friends were staying in had no hot water. We called the golf course we had reservations at to get directions and was told that they were housing a tournament that weekend, and we had not tee time (the hotel never reserved one). We again called the front desk and was put on hold. After 5 minutes we decided to walk down to the desk. The man behind the desk had gotten us a new tee time, and if we had just been patient when he put us on hold we wouldn’t of had to walk down there. We spent most of our time in town and every local that found out we were staying there offered condolences, and said they never heard anything good about it. We went to the prime rib buffet offered by the casino, around 8:00, and they ran out of prime rib. Our waitress informed us that this was the second weekend in a row where they ran out. The casino was small, overcrowded and incredibly smoky (little to no air flow), they had four tables, in which there was a wait for, and slots, definitely not worth the dive. The town of Sholow was beautiful, and where we spent the majority of our time.

Got food poisioning at the restaurant. To rub salt in the wound the service sucked and the place wasn't clean. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. If this is the best in AZ then I know why people move from there. Pretty crummy!
