honeygrow's sixth location opened in Hoboken, NJ in 2015. Our first departure the Philly region, this location promotes honest eating in North Jersey.

Story

honeygrow is a Philly-born, fast-casual eatery serving premium made-to-order stir-fry, salads, kale’atta + honeybars. We’re all about thinking different about our approach, our style and our people. For us, it’s about eating honestly and spending time doing what matters: from visiting the farms to whipping up sauces and dressings in-house. You won’t find a freezer here and there’s no question as to the origin of your stir-fry, salad, smoothie or honeybar. We buy as local as possible simply because it tastes better—end of story.

Founded in Philadelphia in 2012, honeygrow brings people together over quality, wholesome and simple foods.

Update: Thank you for listening. Every time I've come here since addressing my review about the staff and the consistency of the food, I haven't had an issue with my order. The quality of the food was never an issue! Just the consistency of how it was made. But that's not an issue anymore either. My to-go orders have been consistent now, enough noodles and sauce (not less than half filled with no suace like last time) and the staff is professional and more than attentive and helpful to make sure my orders are done right. Thank you

One of my favorite places to eat, I even travel about 30min just to eat here. But unfortnately today will be my last day. I said to myself what is my important my craving for this place or my health. Here is what happened today. I arrived tonight, ordered my usual and saw that the entire staff was cleaning already and it was only 8:30pm. They were cross contaminating everything, cleaning with up with vacuums, sweeping up dirty floor water with broom while throwing speckles of that dirty water into the food prep station which contains all the vegetables, meats, and toppings, etc. They need to hire a new crew with a more competent manager. I witness this place from being one of my go to places to eat but I saw it slowly becoming more and more a place I wouldn't even recommend anymore. The owners need to be more aware of the locations and pay more attention to the condition, everything is falling apart from the gate door, floor, and bathroom smells disgusting. Even the prep station is always a mess with food everywhere in all corners where i witness an employee just knock the food back into random trays which will explain once when i got a piece of chicken in my tofu dish, made me really upset since I am a vegan. My advice to owners is that you guys need to have a new manager to over look the crews, and also for the owners to have weekly visits and to see for themselves if they would be proud of what this place is becoming.

Healthy, organic, a bit pricey, service a bit slow but they double check the orders. Metal seats and stationary barstools, wood benches, not the most comfortable furniture, but earthy. Interesting music. Long lines, surprised the tech generations take so long at the menu kiosks which are big touch screens with pictures. That's where you order, otherwise no human contact except for a greeter most of the time, who also comes by the dining area sometimes to ask how you're liking the food. I come back because it is delicious and good for you. Everything is locally sourced and organic.

Great variety of options and good portion sizes, only down side is all orders are processed through an iPad, so it's difficult to customize certain elements of your order.
