I shop at Asian markets for the produce and price. Hong Kong is the best Asian market in New Orleans and its surroundings. I especially love and appreciate that they sell a variety of fresh herbs. Additionally, they have a deep discounted selection of lightly dented and overstocked produce opposed to selling it at the standard price or tossing it.

Pretty good selection of Asian ingredients that you can't typically find at a regular supermarket. They are also Building up a good selection of alcohol and craft beers. Defiantly worth a stop here if you never been.

Found this place on a whim. Always well stocked, clean, and has everything you could ever want or need to make every Asian style food from Chinese, Cambodian, Japanese, Korean and beyond. Best prices on produce, huge seafood selection including live fish and lobsters. Spices galore, and even the cookware. It's not just a grocery store either. There is also traditional medicines, many restaurants and shops in a plaza surrounding the market.

This is a true gem if you enjoy cooking. This market has many things the other markets don't carry. Best beer, wine and liquor selection and prices in 5he area.

Though we are from here, our family lived in Chicago for several years. There we became spoiled by the access of international foods available. There is even a Super H-Mart that is not just a 'store', it's an event. They even sell kimchi refrigerators. So, on to the review of Hong Kong Market. We absolutely love it! It's not near us, but the travel is well worth it. Seafood is super fresh. The butcher dept. has any cuts you could want. They make in house duck and lots of other meats to make the banh mi sandwiches to order right there. The bread is the freshest. The produce is amazing. If you don't see it, ask. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If possible, allow yourself extra time to investigate the immense offerings. You must experience this place to have any idea how much is available. This is the kind of place I almost didn't want to review, so I could keep it all to myself. Please go and Enjoy!
