I was going to try this place out about a week ago but didn't stop by, looked too dark and no cars out front, even though it showed open. Today I went in out if curiosity and found out they are doing take out/delivery only. The lady working the counter was very friendly and she offered to let me dine in. I was surprised by the menu. The Chinese menu was very typical, it seems all the Chinese restersunts in the US I ever visited use the same exact menu. The surprise was an extra page on the back adding sushi and a nice dessert selection. I tried the Peking Duck, some shrimp toast, and a maki roll. I forgot the name of the maki, but I think it was #16 on the menu, a new one. The shrimp toast and Peking duck were disappointing. Either they deep fried them too long, or they used grease that was old. Either way, I didn't finish either, and I am usually a member of the clean plate club. The maki was very good. It was very wide, but cut funny some pieces too thin, some too wide, but it tasted very good. I also wanted to try the pistachio fudge from the dessert menu, but it either was no longer served or they were out, it was not clear when I asked for it. Instead I got the rice pudding, tiramisu, and flan. All came in pre-packaged cups with foil tops, thus none were made on site. Overall the food would be a 2, the maki was a 4.5, the service was 4. My overall score for this resteraunt is 3/5.
I've been coming here since 2018. My favorite dish is the Singapore Chow Mei Fun and the Spring Rolls. Everything here is terrific!! The owner a be employee's are gracious and very accommodating. If you haven't been here; you're cheating yourself out of some Damm good food and a plesent experience. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!!
The only place in the area I know of that sells Chinese food after 1am and it was very tasty. They also have 2-liter drinks which I feel like I never see at most Chinese places either. I’ll definitely be back.Recommended dishesSesame Chicken
Ordered 3 spicy tuna rolls.. Worst sushi ever. Rice was hard as a rock & the tuna completely on the verge of going bad. 1 bite...yuck. 30$ out the window. Super Target puts out a better spread of sushi than this place. Will not ever order from here again.
Ordered through Uber Eats and received half our order. Driver wouldn’t answer our call to see if he’d forgotten it and Hong Kong Restaurant wouldn’t confirm if the whole order has been picked up or not. They’re response was “Call Uber Eats” and hung up.
Everything was cooked well and delicious, the service was kinda and quick to get my order prepared at the time requested.
Not bad, got a combination with sesame chicken, and a side of donuts. Their set up for Covid is very thoughtful and I appreciate it a lot. Easy to order online and pleasant pick up. Food is good enough to probably eat here again and try other menu options, but so far not amazing.
Food is pretty good, How ever descriptions are very lacking. Case in point, I ordered beef with snow peas. I got beef with mixed vegetables carrots, zucchini, onions and cabbage in addition to snow peas. It's a good thing I wasn't allergic to any of the other ingredients or I would have had to throw out my deliver order. Beef with any listed item should be just that. Adding other ingredients means you're cheeping out the customer by using less expensive filler ingredients and muddying the dish. Again, descriptions are everything.
Could of died eating shrimp egg foo young. Found metal strip while eating the food. Lost my appetite for the night. Spent good money and had to throw out all the food. Still mad, I'd could of died. >:
I spent one week with my friend in Minneapolis last month. One of my friends suggest to order a Chinese food from this restaurant. You can see the pictures, the food looks great and taste great too, it is better than most of other restaurants for the week I had in Minneapolis. I recommend this restaurant.
