First time in the area from Oklahoma and HOOK and FISH DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The food was fresh. The oil that they used was fresh and we didn't eat until 7:30. The chicken was seasoned to the bone! The shrimp and fish was perfection. Whatever seasoning they use is perfection! You can taste the love in the food!! Makes you feel like you had food from your own Great Aunty!! We ate in the restaurant. The only downside it was quite warm inside of the restaurant. Besides that, there aren't any complaints.

Food was very good, seemed fresh, and cooked well. Staff was very friendly, restaurant was clean and tidy. Dining in, the food took quite a while to come out, but was hot. Had the tartar sauce been homemade, I could have given 5 stars... but little packets of tartar... definitely missing an opportunity to shine.Food: 4/5

I'm visiting WPB and wanted to try somewhere local. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is really well kept. We got shrimp, grouper, perch, chicken, and sweet chili shrimp - everyone really enjoyed their meals.Food: 5/5

Probably the cleanest hooks in town. They have grits which is a great plus. The only thing was the owners' desire to see credit cards when ordered online and coming in for pickup. Not everyone keeps their cards on hand as it's saved in the phones and sometimes the numbers are scrambled online for theft protection. So asking for cards when people already paid for them on doesn't make sense owner claims it's to make sure the right people are picking up the order but you do that by checking ID nit credit card. That's the only reason I havw stopped coming here because I want to be able to order online and pick up with my ID and not hand out my physical credit card to anyone the main reason to order online was to avoid these physical interactions  other than that, super sweet people l. Great quality fried foods. Love their lunch specials too. Great local fried seafood destination! From the moment I walked in til I left my experience was amazing.  My first impression was how clean the place was.  Then the staff - EVERYONE was helpful, attentive, and friendly.  Most importantly - the food.  I ordered the platter with catfish, shrimp and fries.  Everything was delicious.   The fish was clean - none of that nasty fat that makes it taste so fishy - and perfectly fried.  The light cornmeal batter was excellent.  Shrimp -lightly fried with a light batter.  It was excellent.   The fries were delicious as well.  I highly recommend this place

WOW! The food was ohhhh soooo amazing!  The moment I walked in I was greeted with warm smiles and a hearty hello. Then the staff was gracious and patient as I considered the menu choices. My order was taken and told a time frame, yet it was ready way before the time she stated. I can NOT recall when I was encouraged to check my order b4 leaving! Great customer service. This was my 1st time visiting , will not be my last. THANKS for a wonderful meal & great  SERVICE!!

Went in before work and the service was fast and great. The cashier was very polite and kind. The food was fresh and they even gave me an extra wing because of the portion. I love great customer service it just adds on to the food being goodFood: 5/5

I enjoyed dining and eating at Hook Fish and Chicken. The food was good. The people there got the order handled properly and the business was clean, neat and efficient. Very friendly owners, they're very courteous and kind. Most of the food is ok but the Cat Fish we got served was a little OFF ! There was something weird tasting about the Cat Fish.  Overall, a nice place for Quick bite.
