It is fair to say that we all have a bad day, and unfortunately "The Hoosier Girl" had one. A few weeks ago, I was the recipient of four cakes that were dry as a bone.  I posted a  very negative review to which "The Hoosier Girl" quickly responded offering to make it right for me. And she did!  She presented me at no charge with the most delicious Red Velvet Cake I have ever had--rich, moist, flavorful, and having a stunning appearance. When I was at the bakery picking up the Red Velvet cake, she had samples of the Coca Cola cake.  I devoured two pieces.  They were like eating candy--delicious! I was also given a slice of pound cake that my friend and I couldn't stuff down our throats fast enough as we left the parking lot.

I returned to the bakery and purchase a second cake  so I could revise my review based on two cakes and the samples.  I purchased a Hummingbird Cake and immediately took it to my Dad who is 88.  I think his words say it all:  This is the BEST CAKE HE HAS EVER EATEN!! And my Dad loves cake and has eaten many a cake in his 88 years! I also shared both cakes with friends who highly praised the cakes.  No one was disappointed!!!!

In conclusion, It is ashamed that I can't give "The Hoosier Girl" 10 stars!!!!!  
I encourage everyone to visit her shop.  Corrine does a wonderful job and I wish her much success in the future.

Ordered my wedding cake from here and it was a disaster! Thank God we had another bakery close by where we could get another cake from... needless to say they almost ruined my wedding.

THE BEST cake I have ever had. Our family loves the Chocolate cake with fudge icing. And the hummingbird cake. I never knew cake could taste so good. The ladies who work there are SUPER Sweet. I hope this place stays here for a long time. I'll never buy another store box cake mix again. They sale small cakes for $5. - perfect size and they also sell half cakes for about $15. We recently got a chocolate fudge half cake, it had 4 layers of yummyness. Still a little warm. Thinking about it now makes my mouth water. 
our new favorite is the coke acola chocolate cake.

I had the Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing for my birthday and it was FANTASTIC! The Caramel is also very good. You'll be glad you stopped here.
