I had them at 5 stars until last weekend. Ive been going to the port richey hooters for 18 years. Never have i been so let down. Moldy buns, soggy fries, a dollar for cheese sauce in a mini cup! But more than that... The manager and staff. A waitresses boyfriend showed up and was grabbing at her crotch groping her in front of us! The manager never apologized for the moldy bun just gave us a new burger. And all of this came down on our waitress, Annie, poor girl was set up to take the fall for everything they did wrong. She deserves better. I'm trying to hold on to good memories had there. "Delightfully tacky but unrefined"

Ending up coming here around 9pm 11/9. Four of us and maybe half a dozen other customers were there. I believe we were our waitresses only table. You would think by the way our waitress barely came by that the place was packed. Not only that but I could tell from the get go that she hated her job and hated being there. Fake it. That's all I'm asking. You might hate the job but just put up a fake front. I would have gotten more beer which would have led to more sales and more of a tip but decided against it simply because she was never around and just hated everything. I don't expect her to hover her one table. But I couldn't even see her to wave her down half the time. Disappointed. New edit. So I emailed the email address Hooters provided twice since 11/14and still no response. Makes me wonder if they put that in their response to make it seem like they care.

The first time I went here with some friends the food was good, but terrible service. The waitress didn’t seem to care about her job and she wasn’t very consistent with new drinks. The second time we went the service was much better and the food was just as good. Overall I’d give this place a 3 star.

I came here twice with a group of friends and had two very different experiences. The first time was very bad, the waitress was very unprofessional and just seemed like she hated her job. We also had a cat come up to the table which terrified my friend Steve. The second experience was much better, the staff was very friendly and funny and the food was very good. Overall I would say this place is kind of a roll of the dice when it comes to the staff but the food is consistently pretty good.

Nice decor, on the waterfront. Went this evening, we had the fish taco's and wings. They no longer carry the "mild" wing sauce, so we went with the medium "on the side". Price's have gone up. With the fish taco's you only get 2 of them - not 3 like another place upriver. If you want fries or something else, it's extra. Went with the tots instead of fries, that was an extra upcharge because the fish tacos don't come with anything. The medium sauce was ok with the wings - I liked the mild better, but they stopped selling it. Glad I had it on the side - but the waitress failed to tell me that if it was on the wings it would be "included" but since it was "on the side" they thought it would be a good idea to charge an extra .99 Go figure. I asked for another before she told me that. OK, but the tiny little tub we got on the side would no way cover 20 wings, much less 10. So add another 2 for "sauce" on the wings. The food is dependable, and I have never had bad service there, but for what I paid there are other options with another under construction a few doors down. I would have liked to rate them 3 and 1/2 stars. To end on a positive note, I though the tots came out great.
