I wanted to like this dog park. I really did. However, despite its large area and generous shade, I probably won't take a dog here too often. The people who visit this place do not have control over their dogs. I witnessed several scuffles during the short time I was there, mostly caused by aggressive dogs that were allowed to misbehave around the others. It got to the point where I just sat looking incredulously at the owners, wondering how they lived with an animal that seemed to be devoid of all discipline. Go here if there aren't many people; otherwise, I'd skip it and go somewhere else until the people start taking responsibility for their animals.

Easily accessible and wheelchair friendly! Separate pens, 35' x 100' at least. Water available. Bags to clean mess. Several safety hates making sure your furry loved one or ones stay safe!

My dog absolutely loves this park! There is a fairly large fenced area large and small breeds can be seperates. Could use some grass but dirt is expected. Minimal patron seating. All of the negative aside, this park has the BEST little creek that runs along side the fence that owners take there dogs for a little off leash swimming which the dogs absolutely love!!! By far the best dog park in Birmingham!

Two sections for dogs of different sizes.  Water access and lovely grounds!

Love taking my pup here to romp. The only downside is the mud puddles on the "big dog" side, even when it hasn't rained in days.
