What do you get when you pair a friendly, knowledgeable staff with a massive beer selection? This place. 
There's a lot of beer to look through along with beer and mead homebrewing supplies and growler bar! 
Get ready to spend some time in here, even if you've been here before- I can never seem to just walk in, grab what I want a leave; I always have to go down the rows and look around. Hop City is just awesome.

Overall a pretty good place for beer shopping. The taps seem to only cater to a select group of people though. If you like amber beers or Oktoberfest type beers, they don't have any in October, the seem to have them in the off season. Also the lady that works at the taps is not very helpful.  I've been there 4 times when she was working the taps, not once did she say hi or acknowledge me unless i spoke to her first. This wouldn't be a big deal, but she seemed to be more cordial to other patrons. Another time a guy filled up my growler and didn't tighten the cap up. I ended up with beer spilled in my trunk and a growler that i had to drink that day. If you need help in the bottle section they are pretty good listening and making suggestions.  Overall 3 stars, 2 were taken away because their selection of tap beers, and the tap beer staff overall.  taking a star away. last time i was there will be my last.  just not worth the trim to me.

You want to beer here. They have 50+ draughts on tap and a deep bottle selection (domestic & imports). They also sell a good selection of wine. All the staff is very helpful. As a bonus, there are at least 10 great restaurants within walking distance.

A lot of good finds. Lots of beers on draft. Every once in a while, they pick a column on the table that lists their current drafts, and all beers in that column are $3 pours.

One of the best craft brew stores that I have come across here in Georgia. They have a great selection of craft Brews and also the selections are very current and up-to-date. The Tasting Room is phenomenal, and there are wine selections as well.
