What began in 2009 as a new brewery and restaurant run by four local guys who love beer and wanted to share it with the world has become an icon of Oregon-brewed craft goodness.

Taking its name from the bygone days of home turf Lane County as the epicenter of the hops growing industry, Hop Valley Brewing Company crafts the highest-quality ales, lagers, pilsners, porters, reds and ciders you’ll find anywhere. From 1,000 barrels in 2009 to more than 12,000 barrels today, thirsty imbibers heartily agree.

Check out Hop Valley’s original restaurant location in Springfield where you’ll find the initial small-run brewery, an outstanding menu stuffed with delicious dishes using local ingredients and a fully stocked bar with Hop Valley favorites and seasonals always on tap. A great place for meeting friends, taking in the game or filling up your growler, Hop Valley’s restaurant is a local favorite. It’s also where you can experience the “Pilot Playground” and taste the latest creations from our mad-scientist master brewers.

And don’t miss the production brewery and Tasting Room on 1st Street in Eugene’s vibrant Whiteaker Neighborhood. There you’ll discover a true tasting room experience with nearly two dozen beers on tap—from favorite standbys to the latest creations and specialty brews—and a unique menu bursting with fun and flavor. Fill up your growler, watch the game, check out the brewing process while you relax or soak up the sun on the patio. Hop Valley’s Tasting Room is a must-stop destination for any true beer lover.

And now, thanks to the benevolent beer gods, it’s even easier to find Hop Valley wherever you are and take it home with you. With expanded distribution throughout the state of Oregon, look for Hop Valley’s award-winning beers on the shelves of your favorite grocery and convenience stores.

Great food & good drinks! Otherwise, probably will not return. And I live down the street! Our waitress look 20min to greet us, and she was extremely rude. There was little seating inside, so we sat outside, which was a mistake. They had one fire and two standing heaters on the patio, but then our waitress told us the heaters “don’t work very well. They turn on, but don’t put much heat out.” Okay, why have them out then? Our food took 40min to come out, and the waitress said the “tap room filled up right before you sat down” which wasn’t really true, because I walked through the tap room & it was filling, but definitely NOT FULL before we sat. I worked for the restaurant in Springfield for over a year, and never ever had complaints like treatment like this. So if you have the choice, go to the restaurant on Gateway, NOT this tap room! Not worth the price for slow service & rude waitresses!

Service can be great or non-existent. The beer selection and menu changes frequently. Food selection is pretty small. Parking can be difficult at peak hours. Both indoor and outdoor seating.

To be honest the patio is great but I can't give anything owned my Miller-Coors more than 2 stars, and that's being generous. Sell-outs!

These guys are beyond amazing. We delivered them a new beer vat and their hospitality was top notch. Great atmosphere, beers, wines, and food. Highly reccommend trying this place if your in the Eugene area. 😎🍺
