Story

In 1947 the Hopkins brothers founded Green Top Service... a business that catered to the sportsman. As was their nature. Cecil and Carroll Hopkins' focus was to provide customers with the service they expected. Green Top sporting goods was sold in 1993 to Charlie Thalhimer and sold again after his premature death in 2008.

Today Vance Hopkins and brothers (sons of Carroll Hopkins have launched a new retail adventure with the commitment of the founders... supreme customer service!
Armed with and understanding of the hunting, target, fishing, and accessories that come from personal experience, the new Hopkins Gun & Tackle promises to return the focus on the customer with timely and quality products that meet their needs.

Loomis, Falcon, SPRO/Gamakatsu, Eagle Claw, Strike King, Lew's, Bass Assassin, Zoom, Yamamoto, Bandit, Dave's Tournament Tackle, Penn, Abu-Garcia, Shakespeare, Pflueger, Sea Striker and countless other manufacturers. Inventory and product lines are increasing daily.

Also, if you wish we will keep your name on our special request list regardless how hard it is to find. You'll never get the answer "we don't take names for this product". Special orders are welcome. Live: Minnows- small, medium, large, and jumbo. Live Canadian Night Crawlers, Bloodworms (in season), Red Wigglers, Meal Worms, Crickets, Peelers (in season) and Eels.
Frozen: Squid, Bunker, Shrimp, Cigar Minnows, Clams, Clam Chum, Menhaden Chum, Peelers in season), and Ballyhoo.
