Typical pretentious Bloomington shop where the staff is too hip to acknowledge its customers. However, the coffee was awesome! There is a cool vibe to the seating area and plenty of space outdoors to watch passersby on the B Line Trail. I absolutely love this place. They're served by my kind of people and have amazing coffee. The music is quiet but loud enough to hear. Great place to study or have quiet conversation. UPDATE: There is now a breakfast/lunch cafe inside. Food looked amazing. Menu attached. Features: Masks preferred, especially while ordering
If there’s one thing I live for, it’s a cortado. For too long I have been dissatisfied with subpar cortados. No longer thanks to the outstanding craftsmanship from barista Noah.
We went to hopscotch for the first time and it was delicious! I got a cappuccino with lavender syrup...it was incredible hands down! The savory flavor of the lavender mixed the slight sweetness from the cappuccino was just perfect! I’m excited to try they’re other syrups on our next trip probably the rose flavor...yum! Just ask which syrups they have available to pick your favorite! We also got a breakfast Sammich which was also very tasty! They are doing pickup only due to COVID and everyone is very conscious and safe. Can’t wait for our next visit!!
In one word UNDERWHELMED. If you think that Starbucks sells over price coffee, wait until you get their even smaller cups at the same price. Coffee was over priced but good. Lacked choices, overall everything was okay. The food side is not open on winter break. Kid-friendliness: Not really, there were no kid friendly foods or items for them. Definitely set up to cater to adults and young adults.
This is one of the businesses that makes Bloomington special. Staff is top-notch—friendly, helpful, and conscientious; coffee is delish with a range of quality drip options which is my go-to; non-coffee beverage selection is interesting, healthy, and yummy; food is amazing and inclusive of a wide range of sensitivities and lifestyle choices. The interior atmosphere is playful & relaxed with a notable variety of seating options and ample access to power outlets. The wraparound porch is so pleasant in the warmer months. I always feel at home here. Wheelchair accessibility: This is an accessible business!
Those other coffee shops will tell you that they cant get a cappuccino to foam with plain old almond milk. These guys are professionals. Pros really. We are lucky to have them. Super flavorful grind combined with the light and creamy foam. Yum. Plus the atmosphere is condusive to actually getting quality work done.
Bloomington's best coffee house! with no offence to Needmore and Soma. great location, great and respectful staff. not prefect, but definitely a pleasant place.
My all-time favorite place to get coffee in Bloomington. My go-to is a Thai iced coffee cut with cold brew, but I've never found or had a bad drink from Hopscotch.Food: 5/5
The food service is pretty new and not great. But the atmosphere and coffee are so nice that it's my go-to spot for work coffee meetings.Food: 3/5
