Horigans has a pretty neat set up. You have a wristband that allows you to pour your own drinks and you can "reload" your band for more after 32oz. They've got a decent selection of local beers and some interesting picks that really show the range of North Carolina breweries. I suggest going on a slow day so you can relax and playa board game with your friends.

Awesome concept tap house where you pour your own beer and wine through a metered tap.  Large selection of craft beers.  Pour a small amount to try and only get charged for the small amount.

Definitely a great place to spend a few hours drinking with friends. The food is tasty (the pretzels come with a very delicious mustard), and the variety of beers and wines had me saying "oh, just one more" over and over again. 

At first, the system can feel confusing, but the staff is friendly, and you get the hang of it. Then, it feels pretty freeing to not have to flag a server down to get a drink.

If you are over 21. And you like Beer, not because you adore getting drunk,  but because you like different tastes; THIS A HOME FOR YOU.

This place has a great atmosphere and the self serve concept (of any size beer you want) is a phenomenal concept.
