loved it and loved the blackjack even more. wife really liked the Harry Potter slot machine, and has now studied up on blackjack and can't wait to go back. great place to have fun and has the possibility of not making you spend a ton of money. pretty sure we broke even but I'm going to go ahead and say we went away with money given the enjoyment we experienced here. Great place of I haven't already said it.

From the minute we pulled up I was impressed. Definition of hospitality, from the valet to the front desk. Atmosphere was amazing in the lobby. Love to see people working together. Room was exactly what I wanted. Bathroom layout was smart, area to use restroom separately from bath/vanity area. Saved time getting ready. Love the convince of walking INDOORS to the casino. Had an amazing time. Planning my next stay and bringing friends in March. If I could give 10 stars I would to this adult Disney World. Thank you horseshoe!!!! We had an amazing time.

Love this place. Nice clean rooms. Multi-floor gambling with a good variety of games. Prepare to gain 5-10 lbs. this is a good place to spoil yourself on a seemingly endless menu of fun & food. 
Also, checkout the rewards program. Nothing beats a free room & meal.

Went to Horseshoe to celebrate New Year's. The buffet line was over an hour wait so we decided to go to Smoke and Rye. Our wait staff was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was not full. We waited 10 min before she acknowledged us as she quickly walked past and after 20 min she finally stopped to take our drink order. The food came out rather quickly given our wait and was really good. We wrapped up and headed to the casino. Everyone we met were very helpful and courteous. The staff answered questions about games we wanted to play but did not know how. Our drink orders were quick and reasonable. The only disappointing part was there were only 2 $5 card tables in the entire building and these were occupied by friends who took turns swapping out their seats. As we closed out the evening, we celebrated in front of Smoke and Rye for the New Year countdown and balloon drop. Overall a fun experience!

Love to come every time we visit the Louisville, Metro area. Last time we stayed we were eligible for discounted rooms which made they stay even more fun! Love to gamble on the river boat. The property has really expanded in the years that we have been going. With the Hotel being located in such a secluded atmosphere. We even saw Deer on the property next door late one night!
