I was at the hotbreads in Dayton, NJ. I ordered cream roll for myself and puff for my friend. Surprise , Surprise. After eating half of the cream roll, I realized i got fungus roll. Surprised these guys even get licenses to run business. Lack of taste is one thing. But fungus topping is a whole different thing.

I see many mixed reviews on this place.  My experience is awesome. Tasted pastries and puffs, we really liked them all.  My personal fav are: Black forest, chocolate pastries Veg puff Mango lassi  We ordered some fast foods like veg panini, vada pav and they are out from the grill and tasted awesome.  There is take out option.  Regarding breads: They have pav bread  both white and wheat Sandwich bread both white and wheat, half packs too Regular bread both white and wheat  Plum cakes are good too. They have so many varieties of plum cakes like plain, walnut, plum, fruit cake.  OMG!!!! Pastries they have almost 10-12 varieties and they taste really good and moist when they are fresh…  They have buns, stuffed croissants.  Interestingly they have Dil pasand and cream rolls. Very rarely found items and they are yummy.  We ordered a birthday cake after our successful tasting at this place. And the cake didn’t disappoint us at all. Everyone in the party loved the cake.  Brownies are really good They have cookies too in many varieties they sell by pound  worth a try.

Very nice party order cakes are made according to customer requests and demands with great taste and flavors.

I was searching to order an eggless space themed cake, it was not available in the catalog of country oven or in the hot breads . Then by giving them the details, hot breads made one. And I ordered it 2 days before the party. They made it. It was so spongy and tasty.  They didn't had space cake toys as it was not in their catalog, I bought it from Amazon. And cake was looking so beautiful and tasted delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. Thanks you hot breads.

Got 3 pastries and trashed all 3 - Butterscotch, Pineapple and Black forest. Dry and taste less. Black forest was worst and tasted like few week old.

Literally the worst Black Forest Pastry I ever had. Very dry and looks like a week old. Couldn’t eat more than a bite and have to throw it. Please save yourself and don’t try any pastry here.

Good place to get pastries and desserts. Ordered a birthday cake and it was prepared well, full of flavor, and ready on time.  Will visit again.

I don’t even want to give 1 star for there customer service. I am regular customer of hot breads for over 10 years. I bought some snacks there today and I asked the lady to give me one extra paper bag as it is raining. She said no. She was very rude, she asked me you don’t have cash to pay. My bill was over $25, I always pay with card. I also see the cookies are not as fresh as before, they are stale and have a smell now. They have lost a loyal customer because of this ladies behavior. BTW if the owner is reading the review he will know whom I am talking about. I went on 6th May 2022 at around 6:30pm. Please get some better employees and not people like her who have no manners.

Soooooo good, was driving past town and saw the Hot Breads sign and had to stop by.  Was so nice and the treats I got were delicious.  Made my day.  Very nice service and kindness.

I have been coming to this hotbread for years for cakes for every occasion. The cakes from this place used to be like cakes back home. What happened?!?! I bought a cake in March and April of this year…the recipe completely changed, the cream taste like cheap whip cream from shoprite, the sponge is dry and overall just tastes cheap. I might as well have gone to Shoprite and bought a cake for half the price there. This might be the last time I am ever taking a chance on an cake from this place. Bring back your original recipe! I ordered Black Forest and pineapple and both were soo disappointing:
