Great overall stay! Super friendly and responsive staff with a centrally located lobby which also serves as a lounge with a cassette tape player and fun collection of cassettes. Breakfast and wine hours were pleasant. Beds were super comfy. Fantastic location near everything Carmel-by-the-Sea has to offer.

Must say.. best deal in town with an amazing Tavern attached. A little bite in the AM, wine at dinner and booze in the tavern. Food is amazing for the funds and well..... The Staff is the best of the Ritz Carlton, without the price. A must stay! DEC spa is open... i forgot my Suit!

Staff was great, but no a/c, and weather was warm. They brought a fan, but we were under impression that the hotel was air conditioned. Had to sleep with windows open.  Only about 17 parking spaces for 27 rooms. Housekeeping staff was wonderful, but we had ants in bathroom. Breakfast was bagels or yogurt and granola. Bed was comfy. Nothing very special about this establishment.

Large, recently-remodeled rooms, most with large private balconies. Cozy lobby area  with a number of amenities. The hot tub and sun deck is a great place to hang out. Also love the sports bar, which is probably the best in Carmel! Overall, a really great place to stay and excellent value for the area.

This is a nice hotel. It is very comfortable and it is in the middle of town close to everything. They need to work on controlling noise here though. On a Friday between noon and 4pm, very loud guests were speaking, almost yelling, in the patio area. When they finally shut up, some one spent an hour with a blower or something. Very noisy. The manager should consider how stressfull all this noise is for guests and try to contain some if it.
