Located at the ground floor level of the Hotel, Bar Louis is a stylish, ultra-modern environment for casual and late-night dining, live entertainment and great cocktails. The sleek space was designed by architect William Reue to be “subtle, timeless and elegant.” An enormous Christopher Makos photograph of Andy Warhol and John Lennon sits behind the bar. The rest of the bar has photography by the Hilton Brothers, a collaboration between Makos and photographer Paul Solberg.

We had dinner out in the porch, which was a beautiful location. Service and drinks were excellent, and the food was tasty. Burger was outstanding, and scallops were just so-so. There conception of the dish was good, but the scallops were under-seared and the polenta was nondescript in the extreme. Still very much enjoyed the experience!

Food and atmosphere is excellent. A nice historic gem in downtown milford. A must visit location.

Beautiful rooms and go to Bar Louis downstairs. It's a home town yet cosmopolitan vibe.

Great bistro on the side of the hotel with fantastic breasts and bakery items. Coffee was excellent and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

One star is too many for this phony facility. They charge top dollar and try to be this fancy place. But the truth is the services are terrible. The room was a sweat box. The shower was cold and the controls didn't work. This is a 15 room facility and you wait forever for a simple thing like a luggage rack. We went down to the fancy pants restaurant for breakfast which literally had 20 empty tables and they had to check if they could accommodate us. My wife and I had to share a menu and wait 15 minutes to place our order only for it to come 15 minutes later wrong and without our drinks and missing food. And the food that did come was cold. The people running this place are clueless.
